2010년 1월 THQ와 비질 게임즈에서 제작한 게임 다크사이더스의 후속작으로, 2012년 8월 14일 북미에서 발매되었다. 전작과 같은 시간대를 공유하며, 1편에서 '워'가 자신의 결백을 증명하기 위해 열심히 뛰어다니는 동안 그의 형제 '데스' 역시 '워'의 결백을 믿고 누명을 벗겨주기 위해 사건의 배후를 캔다..는 스토리. 즉 1편의 이야기를 다른 시각에서 풀어나가고 있다.
